These two books are samples of what AI can do on home computers, the kind anyone can buy at a store. My pictures were brought to life mostly by open AI models running on our own machines at home, and Book 2’s film was made in about a day.

You will find small mistakes in them. We send them out as they are, on purpose: decades of programs that follow fixed steps have taught us to expect computers never to get things wrong. AI is different, and knowing that is the first lesson for anyone who will live with AI.

The mistakes are also an invitation. Children will spot them and ask why, and that is the best part: talk about it together.
